Robert Cameron and Gene Kahn
Gene Kahn is the owner and operator of Great Kolor and has been working with Tim Hall of Color3 for over 20 years. When Gene first saw the finished portfolio of Robert Cameron he was immediately taken by its sheer beauty. He saw and felt the essence of Mr. Cameron's life long love of photography, a love and respect that Gene, himself, has had for many years. It was then that Gene decided that he wanted to be involved with the task of spreading the work of Bob to the rest of the world. It was he who would come up with the idea of contributing to the future of photography through the scholarship fund.
Ten percent of all sales from Mr. Cameron's photographs will build a $50,000 annual scholarship fund. Fully funded, there will be twenty seven annual awards - focused on the three core ingredients for successful photography: capture, printing and sales.
Great Kolor is the sole agent authorized to sell Cameron/Hall images and certifies that every photograph originates from Mr. Cameron's original film. Each print is light balanced, color corrected and produced by Tim Hall / Color3. These photographs have archival ratings of 100+ years and Mr. Cameron personally approved the entire developing and printing process.
